Clare Valley, Australia- This Shiraz boasts wonderful notes of caramel and blackberry while it is smooth and ripe on the palate. The tannins are refined and open textured. Finishes beautifully.

The beating heart of Jim Barry wines lies on the northern outskirts of clare.

In 1959, on the property known as Atherley, Jim and Nancy went to build their home, a place to raise their six children and build a wine business of their own.

They opened their first cellar door in an old school house and in 1973, went on to build a state of the art winery.

Today, original cottage sits nestled amongst the growing winery- a symbol of humble beginning and a marker of how far we have come.
