Tasting Notes: 

The 2020 Atherley Riesling displays aromas of citrus and melon, combined with spice and wet slate. The palate has a firm acid line, framed with flavours of white peach, brown lime, and guava with a refreshing citrus finish.

The beating heart of Jim Barry wines lies on the northern outskirts of clare.

In 1959, on the property known as Atherley, Jim and Nancy went to build their home, a place to raise their six children and build a wine business of their own.

They opened their first cellar door in an old school house and in 1973, went on to build a state of the art winery.

Today, original cottage sits nestled amongst the growing winery- a symbol of humble beginning and a marker of how far we have come.
