Established in 1959, independent, family-owned Diplomático’s distillery lies at the foot of the Andes Mountains in Venezuela, where the purest of waters run to make the very best of rums. Its location was also carefully selected for its close proximity to the main sugar processing plants in the area. The distillery is unique as it houses 3 different distillation processes which, when combined in blending delivers unique rums. 

Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva is a blend of exclusive rum reserves aged for up to twelve years, carefully selected by Master Blenders. Marrying a unique body with excellent balance has made this multi award-winning rum a reference for connoisseurs and fine spirits lovers throughout the world. Opening up with aromas of orange peel, toffee and licorice, it is smooth on the palate, and follows on with notes of toffee fudge that offers a seductive, long-lasting finish.

Copper gold color. A smell of caramel, cinnamon, allspice, cocoa, dried ginger and clove. On the palate, walnuts, sweet caramel, baking spices, brown sugar, cinnamon, buttery and fruits. Also, fudge and tropical fruit flavors. A warming, medium-long finish.
