Orange Dark Chocolate

At Sant’Anton Palace, the official residence of the President of Malta, a citrus grove of 600 trees dating back to the times of Grandmaster Antoine de Paul, yields oranges cultivated and sold during an annual citrus festival. The proceeds go to the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, whose aim is to support individuals and entities to improve the health, quality of life and well-being of people in their time of need. This limited edition Orange Dark Chocolate Bar is made with the luscious oranges from the Presidential Gardens. The peels are caramelised and gently candied, and folded in bittersweet dark chocolate. The process is a labour of love. Dark chocolate (cocoa solids: 66% min., sugar, emulsifier: rapeseed lecithin), candied orange peel (orange peel, sugar).
