Filfli (filfli)– adj. describing something that has chilli added to it. A savoury chutney with just the right hints of sweetness to create that perfect balance. Filfla gets its name from the Arabic word for chilli, felfel, due to the island’s shape before an earthquake and bombardments reshaped its coastline.
