Jura Prophecy WHisky

The Jura Prophecy has a phenolic level of 35 ppm. It has been matured in Limousine oak casks, in other words European (French) oak. The label says "Spicy Sea Spray".Peaty, and it tends towards ashes on to taste just as it did on the nose. Quite dry. The spices are here, as advertised, in the form of cinnamon, mild pepper and some licorice. Caramel. Finish (21/25): Warm, medium long, and peaty all the way. It stays dry, and the ashes are ever present. The finish is rather salty, so that must be the sea spray.
